A helping hand from the Government

The Government is supporting renewable energy, as it seeks to achieve the challenging EU target of sourcing 15% of our energy from renewable sources – an eight fold increase in a decade.  Hitting these targets will greatly reduce the release of carbon into the atmosphere.

This support is in the form of the Feed In Tariff (FIT) for photovoltaic systems which reward you for every kilowatt hour you generate - they started in April 2010 and have created a huge surge in demand for PV systems. The rate for domestic installations dropped to 21p at the begining of December 2011 but falling panel prices have helped keep PV ahead of bank rates generating rates of return of 8 or 9%. Anyone who is already in the scheme will continue to receive the Tariff their system attracted when it was installed, index linked, for 25 years.

Make sure you get your dues

The Feed In Tariff and Renewable Heat incentives can only be accessed through companies like ourselves who have been MCS accredited. This ensures that you will have the best possible equipment fitted by properly trained installers.
