Your carbon footprint

The earth’s environment is under severe threat from increased release of Carbon Dioxide (CO2) into the atmosphere. If we continue to release CO2 at the rate we do now, sea levels and temperature will rise as our weather becomes more severe. The vast majority of CO2 released into the atmosphere comes from burning fossil fuels to produce energy for industry, travel and for heating our homes. The energy used to heat your home and hot water is typically electricity, gas or oil and every KWH we use from these energy sources contributes to global warming.

Cutting Greenhouse gases

The Government aims to achieve an 80% reduction over 1990 levels by 2050 and 34% by 2020 via the Climate Change Act 2008.

What you can do

We should all seek to reduce our reliance on fossil fuels. The installation of a PV system is not only an unbeatable financial investment through the huge financial rewards made possible by the Government approved Feed in Tariff, but it can reduce your overall electricity consumption dramatically. Additionally, with the anticipated introduction of the second phase of the Renewable Heat Incentive, these rewards will extend to Solar Thermal systems thus providing similar financial returns as well as reducing reliance on conventional fuel.
